Downlands v Spetisbury – Match Report
Downlands School played Spetisbury School, in a netball match, at home on the 26th. Before every match we do warm ups and stretches. We do shooting before an opponent comes to our school.
It was a very hard match altogether but in the match we scored 6-3. Our coach said the match was very very fast indeed, but we have got to say how glad we are to have an expert like our coach. During the match as well they were very good interceptors. and were good so in the match they were scoring and we were as well.
In the 1st quarter we scored three goals Spetisbury scored one goal, Second quarter we scored another three goals, they battled and in the 3rd quarter two goals to them. Last quarter was very tense but we finished 6-3 to Downlands. But in the game as well our coach said that it was a very fast game. We have got to tell everyone how much our coach has tried to get us this far in the league. Our next match is away, against Milldown, on Thursday 9th February, which is our next game. And when we play Milldown hopefully we might beat them.

Tudor Times wih Cedar
Yesterday Cedar taught us all about life in England when Henry VIII was king. It was particularly interesting to see the class dance the pavane – a court dance. Next we saw an energetic country dance. Click here for photographs.
