Harvest Service at the Garrison Church
We had a great time at the Garrison Church on Sunday at the Harvest Festival. There were only a few of us singing but we got a huge round of applause from the soldiers who were watching. The Padre gave us a big box of chocolates to eat during the service, but we had to be careful that we didn’t make too much noise unwrapping them! As well as the harvest festival it was the soldiers induction service. They were all given a New Testament Bible from the Padre that is camouflaged and has a Royal Signals picture on it. All of the children who came to sing got one of these Bibles too, which was a great memento to take home to remember the special day.
