What excitement in the school hall today as a traditional seaside Punch and Judy show arrived to entertain Cygnets, Reception and KS1.
Oh no they didn’t! Oh yes they did!
We were treated to the story of Mr Punch who tried to eat the sausages, couldn’t look after the baby, threw his pet spider, Boris into the audience, squirted us all with water AND kept falling asleep!
Poor Judy had a terrible time, especially when Mr Punch kept saying “nag, nag, nag”!
A favourite character with the children was the hungry crocodile who carried off the sausages, the baby and PC Plod who arrived to investigate the crimes….
