KS1′s Amazing Swanage Adventure!

Elm, Oak and Ash classes enjoyed a fun packed trip to Swanage today.
We caught a coach to Nordern Railway and then boarded a traditional Steam Train for Swanage.
We strolled along learning about the history of this seaside town, taking in all the best sites, including; The Pier, the Amphitheatre, the Clock Tower (with no clock!), the Lifeboat Station, the Beach Huts and the Bandstand.
There was time to enjoy the Beach, where we paddled, collected shells, made sandcastles and investigated the seaweed.
Lots of people complimented us on our beautifully behaved children, especially on the Steam Train – they were particularly impressed that we collected our rubbish after snack time and put it in the litter bin.
A big THANKYOU to all the grownups who came along and helped us to have such a lovely day.
