We are pointillists in Oak!

Author We have been learning about the pointillist artist George’s Seurat in Key Stage 1. He paints his entire paintings using brightly coloured dots rather than brushstrokes. We had a go at recreating one of his famous paintings in the pointillist style using different mediums such as paint, pastels and felt tips. We had lots of fun and realised why it took Seurat 1 to 2 years to complete a painting!
