Wibble Wobble, Wibble Wobble, Jelly on the Plate!

Continuing our Science activities about ‘Changing Materials’, today in Elm Class we examined a yummy raspberry jelly.
We passed round a cube to feel and smell. As it went around the circle it got stickier and stickier until it would not come off our fingers without help from a friend! We decided the heat from our hands was causing the cube to begin melting – so it became more sticky even though it was still a solid.
We then worked out how to melt the remaining cubes and we have left the jelly to set in the fridge overnight, so tomorrow we can make it ……….. disappear! (with the help of a big spoon each.)
